BIENVENUE!…and a warm welcome to Normandy! We invite you to while away some time, relaxing and enjoying yourself at number 2, Rue du Tennis, in the wonderful village of Bretteville sur Ay.
In three individually decorated rooms and one small holyday house, all with their own bathrooms, the house with a large kitchen to live in, you’ll have peaceful nights full of sweet dreams.
Each morning will greet you with a hearty breakfast. Not wish shall be left unfulfilled.
And so, fully energised you can discover our wonderful locale.
Long walks on endless sandy beaches, wanders through the sand dunes, excursions to the Allied landing beaches, or even a visit to Mont St Michel, all lie within easy reach.
Another highlight could be a visit to the English Channel island of Jersey. During the summer months, a ferry crossing from nearby Barneville is certainly a unique experience.
In the evenings except Wednesday evening, when we need some time for us to recover and you can eat in one of the excellent restaurants nearby, we’ll make you at home in front of the fire in our comfortable kitchen with a several course menu.
The house wines we serve, whether red or white and specially matching with the dinner of the day are certainly worth tasting.
Maybe you’ll want to t enjoy the peace and quiet of our wonderful garden. Spend a perfect afternoon with relaxing book, a spot in the sun, a cool drink.
We can give a thousand good reasons to visit Normandy, but visit us and we’re sure each guest will decide for themself that this is one of the nicest spots on God’s earth.
We look forward to seeing you, and will do everything we can to assure you a wonderful stay.

Cotentin villages and the landscape
Also shopping is fun. You will find in Portbail (around 10 minutes away) or Barneville-Carteret (around 20 minutes away) or in La-Haye-du-Puits (around 10 minutes away) everything your heart desires.
For those who loves to make some sport, there are many possibilities: jogging at the beach, biking on the green ways (former railway tracks) all through the Cotentin peninsula, playing tennis at the court right next to our home or sailing or beach sailing (char-à-voile) or hiking along the GR223 or horse riding at the beach are just a few of the possibilities.
Holidays with your dog
By the way, our heart is beating for dogs. If you want to bring your best friend with you, he or she will be very welcome for sure! The Portbail room and the Gite "Au Lévrier" with their direct access to the garden are perfect for a stay with your best friend with four legs, while the duplex appartements "Barfleur" & "Sainte-Mère-Eglise" are reserved for guests without dog. While we share dinner all together, we and the guests without dogs would be pleased, if your best friend stays in the room, where bed and couch are covered with your own blankets.
